Tanaka Strawberry Farms!

Jackson, Wade and I spent the last day of March on a field trip to the Strawberry Farms in Irvine! We went with all of Jack's preschool buddies and had a fun ride on a tractor while we got to taste all the crops grown on the farm. We tasted cilantro, carrots, romaine lettuce, spinach, green onions and of course STRAWBERRIES! The tractor stopped and let us all out to eat as many strawberries as we could and pick and fill our own basket to take home! This was of course a huge hit for Jackson, who quickly started picking berries, taking one bite, and then handing them to me as he raced to the next one. After he got the hang of it and started tasting the berries instead of devouring them, we had a fresh, ripe basket to take home and full bellies to guide us there. Here are a few pics from our day!

Berry Cute!

I think Jackson had about 15 strawberries that day, he loved going to the fridge and getting one of "his" strawberries! After we went home, we were excited because Lindsey was flying in from VA and we could hardly wait to see her!
