Valentines Hoopla!

We have been celebrating Valentines Day since last Thursday, when we hosted a Preschool Valentines Day Party at our house! We had 6 little preschoolers, their siblings and their moms over for some Valentine creating, sharing and of course Valentines themed lunch! Jackson was so stoked he could hardly stand it. Every day he would ask, is it my party yet? We sure had fun making cookies and he is becoming quite the little helper in the kitchen! When Thursday finally came, he seriously waited outside on the porch for an hour before it started yelling through the open door, "Is it time yet?!" Here are some photos from "his" party!



We made heart shaped pb and j's and heart shaped chocolate cookies with strawberry frosting! Thanks Trina for the recipe, they were delicious!

Sunday, Nana and Papa came over and brought the boys their Valentines and us some homemade chocolate caramels and a ganoche chocolate heart cake! I heart attacked Ryan's car that night, so that when he left for work in the morning he found hearts everywhere! Valentines morning we made heart shaped waffles that needed some convincing that they were in fact yummy! Jackson is having a difficult time being a good eater lately, but once he took the first bite, he changed his mind!

Wade eats with a plastic mat under his chair because he is so messy! He always starts throwing his food when he is done... I don't know how this one ended up on his head!
