Christmas at the Miller Family Farm

This Christmas we spent time with our family in Rocky Gap, VA! We had lots of kids running around seeing as how Momma and Poppa Miller now have 5 grandkids! Bek and David have the oldest grandchild named David, who is 3 and also Tyler who is 13 months. Jared and LeeAnn have Ella who is 16 months and little Bryce who is 2 months. And of course there is Jackson who turned 4 months just before Christmas. On Christmas Eve all the Miller boys were outside being rednecks and carving up two hogs. The girls were inside busily wrapping presents and doing last minute shopping. Christmas Eve night, Ryan read The Night Before Christmas and Momma read the story of Christ's birth from the scriptures. We exchanged "Secret Santa" gifts and watched the A Christmas Story on tv. Christmas Morning we awoke to the pitter patter of little feet as David, being the only child who really understood what was going on, exclaimed "Santa came!" "The reindeer food is gone too!" Papa played Santa and delivered everyone their gifts. After a mass opening of presents we sat down for a home cooked southern breakfast. We also ate a huge dinner with the missionaries and Carol and Calvin. Then it was time for good old fashioned Miller Family Singing Time. Quite the sight if you know what I mean! While we were in VA we also looked at the Bristol Speedway lights display and celebrated Ryan's 25th Birthday. It was a Christmas to remember!
