Ryan's company was attending a technology conference in San Diego and since he had to go, we decided we would join him! He had a hotel room at the Omni all to himself for three days, so we figured why not?! While he was at the convention all day, we had some fun in the sun with my cousins! On Monday, we went to mission bay and played in the sand.My cousin Laura was also able to take us out sailing in the bay. This was a first for all of us, and hopefully one of many since it was fun and so peaceful!
We followed them home and spent the evening visiting with them while Ryan was having a team dinner. The next day we headed off to the zoo with my cousin Annya. We had a great day visiting all of the animals and spending time together!
After the zoo, we met up with Ryan for dinner and dessert at Extraordinary Desserts in downtown San Diego. I made Ryan drive around town because i was getting frustrated with all the one-way streets and trying to find my way back to the hotel after a long day at the zoo. He's much more patient than I am, and was able to navigate us there easily. Here are our beautiful desserts we shared... white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and molten chocolate raspberry cake....mmmm.... delicious
I was happy to have help with my little ones and they were happy to be out and about and able to see Daddy at night time while he was working out of town. I think they enjoyed their first time sharing a bed in the hotel... this was right after they bounced off the walls and the beds until 10pm!
