November in a Nutshell!

We had a fun filled November packed with lots of family, day trips, a weekend getaway and a holiday to remember!
We took a few preschool fieldtrips... one was at the end of October to the great pumpkin balloon at the Irvine Great Park.
We were soo excited to finally ride the balloon (this being about our third attempt!) It was a blast, but I'd say it was worth about 1 attempt! lol
We also went to Sea World with our preschool friends and saw lots of shows, said hello to Shamu and every wet and wild creature we could!
We also had a visit from Corinne and Brooklyn! We went to the San Diego Zoo with all the little cousins and nana! Wade had fun chasing the peacocks around and petting the animals. He loved making the animal noises and saying each animal name as we found them.

My favorite was seeing the pandas, who were actually out and about! They were playing and eating bamboo.
Jackson had fun just being there and now we can go back whenever because it was much cheaper to buy year passes!
We also celebrated Brooklyn's 1st Birthday with a fun owl themed party!
We also had a preschool Thanksgiving party at the park with our friends. We played pin the feather on the turkey, pine cone relays and made turkeys out of cookies and candy! The boys loved it!
For our 6th anniversary, Ryan planned a surprise getaway vacation to Las Vegas! I was super stoked to spend a few days away and Ryan made sure to fill every minute with fun surprises! Our first night we spent at the Aria Hotel, and we went to a delicious dinner at the Charlie Palmer Steak House! They sure made us feel special by remembering our anniversary and bringing us complimentary creme brulee and ice cream sandwiches! Then we went to the Mandalay Bay to watch the Lion King! It was amazing! It was incredible to see how the actors could make the animals come to life!
The next day we woke up and headed to get massages! This was a first for both of us, but it definitely won't be the last!
After that, we checked into the Bellagio Hotel and after seeing the beautiful garden, we walked down the strip and toured other hotels and stuff. We watched the latest Twilight movie and I definitely enjoyed it! Thanks to Ryan for an amazing weekend!

Thanksgiving we spent at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Carlsbad and we ate till we couldn't eat no more! I finally got to meet my cousin's new little one, Blake! He is so cute!


We ended Thanksgiving night shopping Black Friday style, thanks to Nick who spent the night on our couch so we could score some major deals! We hit up Kohl's at midnight and Home Depot at 430 in the morning to get all our appliances for our new house(hopefully soon!) and ended up saving about$1700!
