Jackson Ryan Miller

Early in the morning on August 23rd 2007, Kerstin woke up with what she thought were mere stomach cramps. After being told by the doctor just one day before that the baby would be a week late, we weren't expecting anything. After waiting around for two hours or so, the cramps were getting stronger and more evident. Ryan called the hospital and after describing what was happening to the nurse she told us to keep track of everything because I was having contractions. at 1:24 pm Ryan and I welcomed Jackson Ryan Miller into the world. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. We can't really tell who he looks like yet, but he has Ryan's long toes and fingers and a south west Virginian style mullet. He enjoys late nights and prefers to sleep during the day which leaves mommy and daddy pretty tired all the time. We are loving being parents and can't wait for the fun times that lay ahead.
